JNTUH Instruction to students of B.Tech R16 Regulation to apply for grace marks, credit exemption with an Undertaking for the issue of PC and CMM

JNTUH College-wise lists of students who are eligible to apply for

i) grace marks,
ii) credit exemption and
iii) grace marks followed by credit exemption

have been prepared and sent to respective colleges. For these three categories, the students have to fill-up the appropriate undertaking form (to be downloaded from student service portal) and the Principals have to sign at the appropriate place in the respective forms. These forms need to be either printed on the college letter-head / with a separate covering letters from the Principal enclosing the appropriate form and sent to the office of DE.

How to apply for JNTUH PC and CMM With Grace Marks :

Those who seek grace marks:

1. A separate form (Download JNTUH Form-5 Application)  earmarked for this category need to be filled up

2. Marks shall be added up to 10 marks for four year B.Tech course in failed subjects and 7 marks for lateral entry students of B.Tech course (maximum of two subjects).

3. All the semester marks/grade memos from the month/year specified in the list uploaded to the portal today, where the subject(s) have been shown as Fail need to be surrendered along with the Filled-in Form (with the Principal endorsement) and the selective new marks/grade memos will be re-issued from the University Examination Branch along with PC & CMM.

 How to apply for JNTUH PC and CMM With Undertaking – Normal Process :

Those who seek only credit exemption:

1. A separate form (Download JNTUH Form-6 Application)  earmarked for this category need to be filled up

2. The students who failed in not more than two subjects and credits of the failed subjects is less than or equal to 6, are only eligible to apply for the credit exemption.

3. The subjects shall be shown as Fail in the CMM but since the student secures 186 credits, PC & CMM will be issued.

How to apply for JNTUH PC and CMM With Grace Marks and Undertaking :

Those who seek both grace marks and credit exemption:

1. A separate form (Download JNTUH Form-7 Application)  earmarked for this category need to be filled up

2. Points mentioned in the above two cases (grace marks and credit exemption) are applicable.

How to apply for JNTUH PC and CMM with Undertaking for B.Tech – in Tatkal Mode:

a) Filled in Form-9 (Download JNTUH Form-9 Application Form)

b) Endorsement from the college Principal on the filled-in application form.

c) Photostat copy of SSC

d) Amount: Rs.2000/-

Note:
1. Certificates under the TATKAL scheme will be issued within in two working days.

2. All payments shall be made through Demand Drafts drawn in favour of THE REGISTRAR JNTUH, payable at Hyderabad.

3. Provision to make payments through challan is available only at SBI JNTU Hyderabad Branch.

4. The T-Wallet/ Swiping facility using the smart card(Debit/credit card) is available at the student service counter.

5. Student should write his/her Hall Ticket Number on the back-side of the Demand Draft, if the mode of payment is DD.

    I have asked many times for grace marks list in our college but they are saying that grace marks list was not issued yet and also it will be not issuing further, so I want to confirm that is it correct or not.

Hello, I’ve applied for grace marks in 3-2 on 28 August 2021 since almost 58 days passed and I went my college to verify whether they got my pc and cmm or not they are saying that you applied for grace in 3-2 and after applying 15 days later you passed in 3-2 supplementary may be due to this your file has been rejected. So,I want to know that this case happens or not or else our college is denying to give us because I’m in urgent need of pc cmm

  7. Sir, I am a candidate of R16 and i have 2 backlogs I am eligible for both grace marks and exemption criteria in the filtered list by the university. I don’t know how many marks I have secured in both the subjects.. If I apply will i able to pass the subject? If I exempt I have to get F in CMM. Where can i get to know my marks? So that i can take my decision accordingly Whether to apply for exemption or grace marks.

Hello sir I’m jntuh btech R-16 lateral entry student I have only one backlog in 3-2 that is core subject can i apply for credit exemption because earlier credit exemption is only for elective subjects but now we don’t have clarity on exemption whether it is for open electives or for core subjects also how many credits a lateral entry student should secure for PC AND CMM PLEASE REPLY FASTER sir.
