The Hon’ble Chief Minister desires to issue laptops to the interested students in lieu of the “Jagananna Vasathi Deevena” scheme for those who are willing to avail of the facility. The letter addressed by Hon’ble Chief Minister to all the students and parents is herewith enclosed. As per the circular, the Principals are hereby requested to obtain the consent of the student and mother to agree on any one of the following three options.
1. To avail of a laptop in lieu of Jagananna Vasathi Deevena.
2. To receive Jaganna Vasathi Deevena amount refusing the laptop.
3. To obtain the consent of student who is not covered under Jaganna Vasathi Deevena to purchase a laptop with their own money.
In this connection, all the Principals of the affiliated colleges and constituent colleges under JNTUK are hereby requested to circulate the letter to the students of the college and to obtain the acceptance of the students and mothers with their signatures selecting any one of the above three options. The details of the students and their options may be communicated to University in an excel format so as to reach on or before 25-04-2021, for onward transmission to Government.
